How to stay safe when buying and selling on Z2Market.

Important: All transactions on Z2Market are protected by Z2 Shield escrow. Never complete deals outside of our platform. If something feels wrong, report it immediately.

1. What is Z2 Shield?

Z2 Shield is our built-in escrow protection system. When you purchase a digital item, your payment is held securely by Z2Market until you confirm that you received what was promised. This protects both buyers and sellers from fraud.

  • Funds are only released to the seller after the buyer confirms delivery
  • If there is a problem, you can open a dispute before confirming
  • Z2 Shield protection duration is configurable per listing by the seller

2. For Buyers

Do
  • Always purchase through Z2Market's checkout system
  • Read the listing description carefully before buying
  • Check the seller's ratings, reviews, and rank badge
  • Use the in-platform chat to communicate with sellers
  • Verify delivery before confirming the order
  • Report issues immediately through the dispute system
Don't
  • Never pay sellers directly outside of Z2Market
  • Never share your login credentials or personal details
  • Never confirm delivery until you have verified the item works
  • Don't communicate outside the platform (no Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.)
  • Don't trust sellers who pressure you to complete deals quickly

3. For Sellers

Do
  • Provide accurate and honest descriptions of your items
  • Deliver items promptly after a sale
  • Respond to buyer questions through the Z2Market chat
  • Use the auto-delivery system (Stock Vault) for instant fulfillment
  • Keep your account credentials secure with 2FA enabled
Don't
  • Never ask buyers to pay outside of Z2Market
  • Never ask buyers for their personal information
  • Don't list items you cannot deliver
  • Don't try to circumvent the escrow system

4. Recognizing Scams

Watch out for these red flags:

  • Off-platform requests: Anyone asking you to pay, trade, or communicate outside of Z2Market
  • Too-good-to-be-true prices: Listings priced far below market value
  • Urgency pressure: Sellers or buyers pushing you to act immediately
  • Requests for credentials: Anyone asking for your Z2Market password or personal login details
  • Fake payment proof: Screenshots of payments instead of completing through the platform

5. Reporting Issues

If you encounter suspicious activity or believe you've been targeted by a scam:

  • Use the Report button on any listing or user profile
  • Open a dispute on the order if a transaction has already started
  • Contact our support team directly through the Messages page
  • Do not engage further with the suspicious user

Our team reviews all reports and takes action to protect the community.

6. Keeping Your Account Secure

  • Use a strong, unique password for your Z2Market account
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings
  • Never share your password or 2FA codes with anyone
  • Log out when using shared devices
  • Review your account activity regularly
